Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $300.00
Purchased At:k cycles
Strengths:very tought and stong, i ride it 2 skwl everyday rain or shine and i am out everynyt on all types of surfaces. many crashes and not one buckled wheel of bent fork
Weaknesses:after 3 years the ratchet on the back sprocket went a little hard to freewheel( not alot, i am just picky) but thats not bad as i bought a mongoose back wheel and it broke 3 months later
Similar Products Used:non this bike i tought and not to heavy
Bottom Line:this is a exelant bike for its money and is easy to maintain and just a quick note this is the old stole frame that must be about 4 or more years old and if the new one is anything like it it is well worth getting for the money

Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $300.00
Strengths:frame forks dropmounts american bb
very strong
Weaknesses:heavy bad rims 14mm front axle (to big) i hate the sprocket
Similar Products Used:black eye outcast
Bottom Line:its a great bike for a good price and is very strong. best for dirt jumps and not so much street because of the rims.
mostley a strong beginners bike for someone who is going to crash but not do huge stunts. you can always modify this bike though. i would suggest a smaller sprocket and new rims.

Favorite Trail:the endwell trails
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $320.00
Purchased At:BCC
Strengths:Extremely strong bike, expecially since I crash a lot. I dont get why some ppl say the rims bend cuz mine have only slightly bent (which is normal). As long as u take care of it the whole bike can take a pretty massive beating without giving much wear n' tear.
Weaknesses:Weight, it is an ussue. I ride dirt so I dont really have a ploblem with it and i actually can get quite high on this bike, but i can see where riding street would interact with some problems. the gear ratio is more for speed and less power..also..good for dirt but bad for flatland or street. also the rear brakes..dirt i dont use them much but ive been trying some new street stuff and a tougher back brake would come in handy.
Similar Products Used:n/a
Bike Setup:just did minor adjustments but still stock with every part it had when boughten
Bottom Line:I enjoy this bike and it fits my style well but if your more into street then i would deffly get a much lighter bike.

Favorite Trail:My bach yard
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $300.00
Purchased At:bicycles west
Strengths:Does very well of high jumps, dropoffs and other big stuff. rides really fast.
Weaknesses:crank comes loose but other than that everything else is fine.
Similar Products Used:diamondback
Bike Setup:X3 frame haro hubs rear and front, haro stem, 3 peice fusion cranks and pedels and everything else is Haro.
Bottom Line:I think that the Haro backtrail x3 is a great bike to do big jumps, go fast and do a little bit of flatland. The Haro x3 can take alot of falls. It is put together well and the heavy frame makes the bike way more durable. If anybody wants to get a new bike and they are lookin to spend about three hundred dollars and they are a pretty good rider then they should definelly get the Haro backtrail x3. You will have fun and it will last you a long time.

Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $259.00
Purchased At:berts bikes
Strengths:cheap, strong (frame),14mm axles?
Weaknesses:crappy rims, stupid tires, bad pedals
Similar Products Used:other bmx bikes
Bike Setup:new pedals, soon profile cranks.. mmmmmmmmmmm
Bottom Line:this is a update to my review for the x2. Its an okay bike for the cost but I bent the rims (which are double wall) really fast. I also bent the pedals which I had to replace even though there is a warrenty. The tires are pretty crappy too, they wear fast and in odd places. I've had at least 7 flats and i haven't even taken it to the park yet. Bert's bikes has crappy customer service, i brought my broken pedals in and they said "they are too broken" and I would have to replace them. I'm wondering if they will replace my broken tire for free. If you arent too crazy or you like to pose this is an exceptional bike, but if your really going to beat the chilis out of it spend a little more money. Im lowering my score to 3 flamin' turds so that my total score is a 4.

Strengths:strong,cool looking
Weaknesses:heavy, seat gets all ripped up,
Similar Products Used:gt performer, dyno zone, and lots of other bmx bikes
Bike Setup:stock
Bottom Line:i have a backtrail x2, dont know if theres a difference. Its really heavy, and if you ride street with it the tires slip sometime but is priced well. I would highly recommend some dh gloves with full fingers and some other pads cause im typing with only 8 fingers...

Price Paid: $320.00
Purchased At:Heino's
Strengths:Strong frame
Weaknesses:waaaaaaaaaayyyy too heavy, rims bend too easy
Similar Products Used:x3
Bottom Line:This bike is good for if you have been jumping awhile and it is easy for you to get a lot of air.It is not a good bike to start out with because since it is heavy it is harder to get air. I use it on dirt jumps and it works fine. Overall it is a pretty good bike, and I would recomend it to anyone (except beginners).
