Favorite Trail:around town
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $40.00
Purchased At:used on craigslist
Strengths:the entire bike is aluminum, seat post with shock, shocks on front forks, road tires, everything is quick disconnect.
Weaknesses:everything is quick disconnect. Buy a good lock and run it through both wheels, frame, and streetlight!
Similar Products Used:specialized hard rock
Bottom Line:I was an avid biker 10 years ago. This bike is well designed, comfortable, and very light!

Favorite Trail:Oleta
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $400.00
Purchased At:bike tech miami 2000
Strengths:Solid frame, relaxed upright geometry, no vibrations or shakes, suprisingly fast.. 24 mph top end.
Weaknesses:cheap components; fork, suspension seatpost, tires were heavy. Replaced lots of stuff
Bike Setup:Surly instigator rigid fork, Pig headset, Sette stem/bar/rigid seatpost, 48/38/28 Deore Crank, Specialized avatar saddle, nimbus 1.5" tires
Bottom Line:Most of the components were junk except for rims and brakes which are durable and function well, but it is the frame that shines, very sharp looking, vibration free, solid, I can ride in spinting mode, head down or sitting up hands free comfortably once I replaced stock heavy/cumbersome front end (fork/quill stem/handlebars). Stiff for a comfort bike, a little heavy, but a sweet ride!

Date Reviewed: April 26, 2005
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $240.00
Purchased At:Century Cycle
Strengths:Great bike to get back into action. Meant for mostly pavement, or very easy trail...
Weaknesses:For what you pay, it is what it is, very fine
Similar Products Used:Giant Sedona
Bike Setup:stock
Bottom Line:Nice value, well put together, I think it compares positively to the Giant Sedona which is probably the bike most equivalent.
