$100.00 | | Purchased At: | shinohara cycles | | Strengths: | Not too heavy, nice and cool. | | Weaknesses: | nothing really | | Similar Products Used: | banana skins, melon skins | | Bike Setup: | specialized big hit comp | | Bottom Line: | The price might seem a little inflated but I live in Japan. I stacked it today after a small jump and managed do a face plant into a tree. My helmet split apart but my melon was fine. I have a bit of a stiff neck now, but that is better than a stiff hospital bill. Bottom line? I don't have a fractured swede. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Rolla, MO Date Reviewed: May 15, 2000 | | Favorite Trail: | Mill Creek, not amazing, but so close | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Looks good, fits great, ventilates well, visor is awesome | | Weaknesses: | seem to run a little small in sizes, | | Similar Products Used: | Trek Vapor (saved my melon) | | Bike Setup: | '95 GT Outpost Trail (not much, but gets the job done) | | Bottom Line: | Too much helmet for beginners or people who don't ride much. If you don't do much crazy stuff, you don't need a helmet this techinical, but great for racing or people who ride more technical trails, or people like me who ride almost every day and need their melon well protected. I got mine on clearance ($40), anyone know what the retail is on this?? | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
