Submitted by chris horner a Weekend Warrior from Fukuoka city, Japan
Date Reviewed: September 8, 2002
Favorite Trail:Takasuyama
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $100.00
Purchased At:shinohara cycles
Strengths:Not too heavy, nice and cool.
Weaknesses:nothing really
Similar Products Used:banana skins, melon skins
Bike Setup:specialized big hit comp
Bottom Line:The price might seem a little inflated but I live in Japan. I stacked it today after a small jump and managed do a face plant into a tree. My helmet split apart but my melon was fine. I have a bit of a stiff neck now, but that is better than a stiff hospital bill. Bottom line? I don't have a fractured swede.

Submitted by Adam Britt a Weekend Warrior from Rolla, MO
Date Reviewed: May 15, 2000
Favorite Trail:Mill Creek, not amazing, but so close
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:Looks good, fits great, ventilates well, visor is awesome
Weaknesses:seem to run a little small in sizes,
Similar Products Used:Trek Vapor (saved my melon)
Bike Setup:'95 GT Outpost Trail (not much, but gets the job done)
Bottom Line:Too much helmet for beginners or people who don't ride much. If you don't do much crazy stuff, you don't need a helmet this techinical, but great for racing or people who ride more technical trails, or people like me who ride almost every day and need their melon well protected. I got mine on clearance ($40), anyone know what the retail is on this??
