Have done drops with absolutely no problems, have bombed tech. singletrack with ease, and have raped skateparks with confidence. | | Weaknesses: | EVERY SINGLE COMPONENT. CRAP HUBS, CRAP BRAKES. I don't have as much fun at the skatepark because of how crap the forks are. I bottom out with high bunnyhops. | | Similar Products Used: | Azonic Steelhead, Specialized P.1 and 2 | | Bike Setup: | Enduro grips and Odyssey seat. I love this thing. I really like the head angle, so i feel more comfortable bombing hills. This is my all around bike so I want make it better. The frame looks cool. -I love this bike, the frame seems strong but not to heavy. Great for the riding I do, does well on the smaller jumps and drops that I have done. and it is good to know I can raise the seat post and take it to the hills and be able to get around on it.
- everywhere I go I get complements on how great it looks so that is a plus too, I guess.

$485.00 | | Purchased At: | Direct from Pacific | | Strengths: | Short TT and Rear. Solid Build (surprisingly). Good color, parts and weight. Fork SST does a decent job. Backpedals fakie really well :P | | Weaknesses: | Brakes are a bit weak. Will upgrade to Hope Minis or Hayes El Caminos eventually. Heavy fork (would prefer a Stance Blunt or Pike Team). Don't like the Deore Rear Derailieur | | Similar Products Used: | Tested Spec P series, 'Dale Chase, and Gary Fisher Biggins. | | Bike Setup: | Stock with Snafu looseball Pedals and Shadow Conspiracy Seat (LITE BMX seat. Check it out). Want to hook up an Odyssey BMX Elementary Stem and suitable bars (prolly the Atomlab Trailpimp Bars) | | Bottom Line: | Have owned a few Mtn bikes in the past. Wanted something that fit more like my 21" BMX bike. Really seated the Chase and the P2 (since I got to try them out). Decided to bite the bullet and go for the deal on the GT (I do work for Hyundai, so I get Pro-form costs on all Pacific bikes). I would have spent more than twice the price on the other bikes, and no one had the Moto in stoke within a 4 hour drive.... so I crossed my fingers.
Got the bike in, set it up, and FINALLY got some time to play. I am VErY pleased. The build was my #1 concern, but the construction is far beefier than I expected. Photos don't do this bike justice. What the head tube lacks in stack height (for weld surface area), it makes up for in diameter... plent strong. Many touches like the machined CS yoke are missed in photos. VERY nice. The bars and cranks are color matched to the metal grey graphics to make a super clean looking bike.
The ride is tight, minus the ///thunk/// noise from the forks doring bunny-hops. The bike is quite short all around, so pulling the front up for hops/manuals is super easy. Plenty of seatpost for high-riding singletrack time. Steers well and is trail capable. I need to get used to the swing weight when trying street riding and will update my review as time goes on. Haven't jumped it YET... but it feels a LOT like my BMX, so I'm sure it will be fine.
I can STRONGLY suggest getting this bike for beginner to intermediate riders or BMXers who want a trail-capable bike to play on.
Don't buy it if you have an issue with good-looking, well-built bikes that will make your friends jealous

Ive done some searious urban free rideing too on this bike, jumping 12ft stair cases, off roofs, down stairs (dont even feel the stairs) picnic tables, you name it | | Weaknesses: | im not too sure yet, but so far i had a little problems with the brakes and rims. The brakes arnt strong enouf, but maby a new set of better pads could fix that, the rims had goten un true a few times but nothing perminent (its just a matter of brakeing in) everything else is holding up perfectly | | Bike Setup: | panaracer fire FR in the front and panaracer DH in the back, azonic pedals and new grips | | Bottom Line: | so the bottom line is this bike is great if your hard on a bike, you like doing a little free rideing, jumpin stuf this is your bike, ive looked at giants new STP with the same fork as this but thats one ugly bike plus its a cupple hundred more, ive also looked at haro's bike thats similar to this and as well as specialized and cannondale, and the best i could find out of these for the price is the gt moto, both the specialized and the haro are cheeper but the forks arnt beefy enouf, the cannondale was nice but it cost hunderds more and its fork didnt look like it was as good as the drop off and by the way, the drop off comp and the drop off 2 are the same thing. so if your looking for a good hardtail free ride bike and you dont want to spend too much go with the Gt Moto its a great bike you cant get more for your money than with this bike | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$130.00 | | Purchased At: | wiggle | | Strengths: | handling | | Weaknesses: | Strength. I bought this bike for my son as it was aa cheap frame. However i realise why it is cheap now. | | Similar Products Used: | Cheap hardtail from jjb sports | | Bike Setup: | Mozo forks Truvativv crank | | Bottom Line: | This bike does not fit its purpose. My son is not atall heavy. He weighs just 5.5 stone and is not evn on jumps 2 foot tall. He snapped this bikes steerer tube like butter on a small double when he came up short. Wiggle were unhelpful as well. They did not replace the bike and said that this bike was not intended for jumping. I contacted some advisers but there was nothing that they could do as the warranty indicates no extree riding or jumping. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
