Favorite Trail:just starting
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $100.00
Purchased At:craiglist
Strengths:Great bike for the money. Pretty good bike just stock. I ride mostly on pavement but holds up well on trail as well.
Weaknesses:Brakes are noisy. If you are going to trail ride much I would put a suspension shock up front.
Bottom Line:Good bike.

Date Reviewed: January 11, 2007
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Purchased At:Inherited
Strengths:This is a pretty burly frame it can take quite a bit of abuse on a trail and i even tried it on some jumps and it took the beating and kept on steaming.
Weaknesses:none
Bike Setup:GT Outpost Manitou Black forks, FSA headset, LX HOllowtech, XT bifters, Bontrager rims, easton handlebars, specialized seat.
Bottom Line:this is a good entry level hardtail that will take as much abuse as you can give it

2 Years
Strengths:
great price (i didn't pay the $600 that it says up there, actually paid about $300.) strong frame, love the grip shift, V-brakes are great
Weaknesses:
had to have it tuned up 3 or 4 times before i felt completely comfortable. i've got a few dings in the finish.
