Date Reviewed: September 24, 2006
Duration Product Used:3 months
Purchased At:100 aud
Strengths:Very nimble, light (for cro mo), It's an old school GT.
Weaknesses:Nothing except it's age.
Similar Products Used:All kinds of XC hard tails and FS bikes. Steel and aluminimum.
Bike Setup:Converted to SS with a surly singulator. XTR modified cranks, Avid SD;s. A mix os good light dependable parts. Original rigid forks.
Bottom Line:I think it's a 95-96 Borrego, purchased as a baby seat bike. I soon realized it was wated with this task. This bike is one of the most fun bikes to ride I have ever riden. (If you call riding fast flowing, smooth, twisty single track fun). The handling is razor sharp, without being nervous. Feels light under you, and realy responsive.
