from melbourne, australia Date Reviewed: September 18, 2004 | | Favorite Trail: | gimme a mountain | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Price Paid: |
$400.00 | | Purchased At: | ebay.com | | Strengths: | The suspension is so supple that i dont feel a thing. I used to have to lift my arse when i ride through a gutter/kerb, now i rarely need to do that. Pretty light for a full suspension bike and its has aloud & vibrant paint job and a hint of classic GT rear design that cannot go wrong. | | Weaknesses: | I dunno if it has squeeky problems like the other LTS since i just bought it 2nd hand recently, but i think there design flaw in the front shifter cable. The cable seem to squashed in between the main frame and the rear frame, and not through a gap provided; hence slowly cutting the cable. Am i the only one with this problem? | | Similar Products Used: | Specialized Hardrock(XT parts and RST Gila front suspension), Trek(hardtail),Trek 5000, Bridgestone MB-4(great undestructable bike to go thrashing with), GT LTS 3, | | Bike Setup: | stock | | Bottom Line: | GT LTS has always been my dream bike cos thats was when i started going bike crazy in '95. Although i never owned a GT all this while, i was a firm fan of GT. And now, owning this GT LTS 3000, confirms my faith that GT makes good mountain bikes. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
