$680.00 | | Strengths: | Nicely balanced, looks good, easily customisable. Strong frame, comes with nice quality parts, the tires are still originals and in nice condition! | | Weaknesses: | Weld joints rust on chrome finish version, but can be easily removed with chrome cleaner, the 1999 version only came with caliper brakes. | | Similar Products Used: | Have tried a fatboy specialised, diamondback joker, GT vertigo and a few mid-range full sus bikes. | | Bike Setup: | Modified Dyno compe, parts added/modified: GT stealth 3-spoke mags, front and rear tektro V-brakes, new pedals with metal pins, new saddle, grips. | | Bottom Line: | Very good bike, newer version comes with rear U-brakes. When modified with V-brakes, I have not come across a nicer nike to ride except the diamondback joker which is balanced ever so slightly better. The chrome finish on mine looks dirty most of the time whihc is a bit of a downer, only comes with one set of pegs which screw rather than bolt on- mine fell off. Other than that, a nice bike to ride which hasn't given me any problems. Somebody who is new to BMXing should buy it, it is fairly cheap and very good value. Anybody younger than 12 shouldn't buy it, there is a bit of a BMX craze wher I live, and there are kids buying these bikes, who can't do ANYTHING on them, and they might as well buy a DYNO ZONE or some other lame BMX like a cheap mongoose or muddy fox or something. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
