Date Reviewed: March 15, 2003
Favorite Trail:hanna park
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $200.00
Purchased At:bike store
Strengths:good riding comfort bike, very responsive brakes, nice suspension seatpost
Weaknesses:can"t get replacement parts, rst front suspension shock quality very poor, excessive bushing wear with MINIMAL off road use
Similar Products Used:mongoose, motobecane, giant, trek
Bottom Line:the timberline gt hardtail rides out good for a base-to-midline comfort bike. some good features, i/e shifters, gearset, adjustable stem, suspension seatpost. and also some poor features, i/e RST SUSPENSION FORK (perhaps the worst i've ridden), and uncomfortable seat. bottom line-dont buy, unless you don't ride much.....NO PARTS OEM PARTS AVAILABLE!!!!!
