But it was worth the 199 I paid. | | Weaknesses: | Selle Royal look-in seat is pure garbage and was off the bike after one ride. The suspension seat post is low quality and totally unecessary. The front fork is pretty junky.....I'd kill to just have a rigid fork. Why do companies put suspension forks on hybrids?? It's just idiotic. Oh yeah, not real fond of the Aqua tread tires either. | | Similar Products Used: | Motobecane 300 FS, Girlfriends Specialized hybrid. | | Bike Setup: | Stock except for the magnificent Specialized BG comfort plus saddle. | | Bottom Line: | Good bike if you can get it for the low 200's. The suspension fork and seatpost are junk and not at all necessary in a hybrid. loose the junk seat instantly. It featured components found on higher-end offerings of other companies, with a beautiful, attractive frame. And with rack mounting points, it is inspiring to the urban/bike path adventurer! Hybrid of a hybrid that has mtb parts (not larger wheels etc) & hence easily interchangeable. Comfortable riding position for WWarrior with a dodgy back. | | Weaknesses: | Not suitable for racing with slightly reclined riding position & high handlebars. Heavier than serious mtb's. Pedals slippery when wet (I'll change mine). | | Bike Setup: | std | | Bottom Line: | Great value for what I want it for i.e. tootling around the local streets but with the ability to get up & down gutters, stairs & basic tracks without worrying about nimble wheels & components (like on my road racer). | | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |
