Submitted by Raymond a Racer from Orlando, Fl, USofA
Date Reviewed: July 7, 2004
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $130.00
Strengths:Solid wheels, hubs and frame - quite robust. Also good brakes and brake levers. Bottom bracket seems to be good as well
Weaknesses:Quite heavy and cheap plastic pedals (not grippy enough) , threaded (quill) stem system vibrates loose too easily and seat needs tougher edges
Bike Setup:as if from the shop except alu pedals with some grip
Bottom Line:Good solid bike for a parent looking to get their child on first quasi-serious BMX bike (proportions of bike and brakes are good for a 7-10 year old. You will need to replace pedals and seat and CONSTANTLY watch the stem for loosening. My boy is getting podium places on the bike so cannot be all bad.

Quite good value at the $130 we paid, so-so value at the ca, $160 RRP
Value Rating:4Overall Rating:3
