Submitted by Matt S a Weekend Warrior from Port Moody, B.C. Canada
Date Reviewed: July 5, 2009
Favorite Trail:Four Lost Souls and The Dentist
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $3800.00
Purchased At:Caps Rocky Point
Strengths:Overall strength, maneuverability, jumps well, can handle some pretty big hits, looks great.
Weaknesses:a little heavy and some of the stock parts are crap (Sram x5)
Similar Products Used:Rocky Mountain Slayer SS 396, Transition Bottle Rocket.
Bike Setup:Stock 08 except new eastern pedals white, intense grips, raceface atlas cranks, avid elixer brakes, Marzocchi 66 and Roco TST.
Bottom Line:Great bike, fun to screw around on, a little difficult to maneuver in the air but that changes after getting used to the bike! Some good and bad parts but that an easy fix! Great for freeriders and downhillers alike.

The Marzocchi rocco r shock

Similar Products Used:Mondraker foxy rx
Scott nitrous 10
Bike Setup:Stock with wtb pure v saddle and bbb pedals
Bottom Line:I am loving this bike its really plush even with a 500lbs spring ( I weight 55kg ) it pedals uphill quite well, all you need is strenght in your legs!
In spite of the weight it is really maneuvrabel and short, so it's very easy to handle it. It's a natural jumper and will huck everything you'll throw it at!
I would buy it all over again!
