from fresno CA Date Reviewed: September 27, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | street/sidewalks, a little dirt | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | great around town bike. use mine to ride back and forth to school. about 15 min. ride. great value. trek 800's seemed to flimsy, by comparison. | | Weaknesses: | no suspension. but thats par for the course at this price (220ish). | | Similar Products Used: | trek 800, diamond back sorrento, also a nice bike... for about 50 bucks more. | | Bottom Line: | this was the best, least expensive, well built, bike i could find. yeah, if you want to spend a little more (about 40 bucks) you can get front suspension. but i needed to have enough headroom to buy extras ie. lock, bottle and cage, pump, rear rack, and tire linners, dont forget the linners! mr tuffy has saved me alot of flat changin'. | Overall Rating: |
