Strengths:
comes in 700c for cyclocross bike too, low rolling resistance, large air volume = cushy ride, easy to mount.
Weaknesses:
for some reason, whenever leaning the bike into a corner, the tires fight being cranked over on pavement - a definite eye opener for sure - something you must compensate for, especially when riding a cross bike at speed on curvy pavement. Unless you are riding on baked hardpack, these tires lose traction fast anywhere. Hazardous in gravelly conditions/loose dirt/loose rock.

Bottom Line:
Nice tire if you never go around a corner on the pavement. They just feel weird when you try to carve a hard corner on pavement - like the bike wants to constantly stand up in a corner. But, now that I am used to this trait, I don't mind it as much and they are easy to ride no handed because the tires never want to get off the center tread!!!!

Bottom Line:
After having used and abused a pair of Michelin Sprints commuting on gravel trails and city streets it was time for a new set of tires. The Reverts are a GREAT tire for me, they were on sale at Nashbar, have a green sidewall to match my bike,have a great ride, are fast, and seem more substantial than the Sprints (which seemingly aren't made anymore).

BLAZIN FAST!!! Pace your local road bikers with these babies.
Weaknesses:
Slow to hook up on some trails (those with ANY loose stuff on the ground) & cost$

Bottom Line:
Lookin for speed on the fireroads or commuting for training? Look no further - FAST A$$ tire. Cost-wise they aren't the cheapest, but if your buyin' Geax, your buyin' one of the best brands anyhow. WHAT rolling resistance? I was easily able to pace most roaders with these on (22-25mph cruise) at a minimal effort. Run HPrsr (70psi) on the real hard stuff and lower (55psi) for off road. They hook up on the corners, but have a tendancy to slip a bit on off road sprinting. Kevlar bead only way to fly - SUPER light, maybe even THE lightest one yet. This tire is great. It is fast, and if you take it to 40 psi, it will provide fantastic grip off-road for what it is. GEAX makes great tires, and the Revert is no exception.

Teal sidewalls are damn ugly. Tread pattern throws up water in hravy rain.
I didn't pay for these tyres as they were compensation for a mix-up with my order with a mail order company. There are two reasons why I would not have picked these tyres, firstly they look damn ugly, though I know they make a more toned down version, and I liked the Continental Avenue Semi-Slicks which were stolen along with my Mavic Crossliks.(see my review) However as they were free I gave them a try. I had intended to use these as a commuting tyre for the autumn with the intention of buying another set of Contis when these wore out. That said whenIi cycled in to work today in heavy rain (yes I realise they are not a wet weather tyre - but you cannot predict the weather in England) I got a face full of water even though I have a Crud catcher. A commuting tyre which cannot handle the odd downpour is no good to me. I am giving these away to my little brother. One chilli for the weight and one chilli for their handling in perfect conditions. But that's all their getting as they suck in the rain!!!!!!!!!

Bottom Line:
A very light tire with really low rolling resistance. I have used it on the street for commuting and some hard pack. Corners great due to teardrop tread on sides. A few flats but with the Kevlar edition this would probably not be a problem. Have used for about a year (3000) miles and very slight tread wear. If used for what it is intended it is a very good tire. I have the green sidewall which adds a little spice to the bike. 5 chilies
