Strengths:
my bike is 2003 solstice.Rapid fire shifters are very nice . adjustable front fork really helps the handling and ride on this tall bike.
Weaknesses:
Although made by Trek, uses lighter spoke setup than comparable Trek models.32 vs 36 spoke wheels. also 14g straight spokes vs 14/13 butted spokes on Trek. Thats 12% More spokes with 25% more cross section area each. The spec sheets dont show any difference here. Not a complaint, just a tip for any hard riders considering these bikes. The tires and spokes seem more light weight, street oriented than the Trek.
Similar Products Used:
Trek Navigator 400
Bottom Line:
A nice riding bike that seems well equipped for this price range. But perhaps more street bike than others in it's class.
