It is so comfortable and it hums when you go fast on the road! :) I love it! Plus, it's blue! | | Weaknesses: | It does have a pretty uncomfortable seat and I replaced the pedals. | | Similar Products Used: | I tried out the Trek 4900 and had actually come back to the store to buy that, but it was gone, so... | | Bike Setup: | Stock except pedals. | | Bottom Line: | I love this bike and cannot see myself needing a new bike anytime soon. I ride it around town, on the trails, and on gravel roads. I completed my first adventure race on this bike last year and my second this year. I rocked on both bike portions too! As far as I can tell, I got a whole lot of bike for not too horribly much money and I'm very happy with it!
On the other hand, if all you're doing is riding around town and only getting out on trails every now and then, you probably don't need this bike. And if you've ridden every trail out there fifty times, you probably need more than this bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

The feel of a WSD compared to a non-WSD is such a difference. I would say that any average to under-average sized woman should definately get a Genesister. And since the Tassajara is the cheapest priced Genesister it would definately be the choice for someone just getting started or someone who only gets out every once and a while. | | Weaknesses: | The saddle isn't the greatest, but since I've already ripped it, I'll just wait to replace it when it's wrecked. Also, the pedals are cheap platforms. Would be nicer if they would have at least come with the standard M515, but that started on the next model up (Big Sur). | | Similar Products Used: | I don't think I've used any similar products, but I think the Trek 4000 series and 6000 series are pretty similar in style and price. | | Bottom Line: | I love this BIKE! I get out on it once or twice a week on trails, and I've started racing and have been using it for that. Platform pedals were pretty cheap. Some adjustments needed in the beginning wrt. the chain which went loose pretty fast. | | Similar Products Used: | None | | Bike Setup: | Standard except for pedals. | | Bottom Line: | Love this bike!
