Favorite Trail:Tiger Mountain
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Purchased At:OEM, on a Kona Jake
Strengths:It came on the bike. I don't feel much resistance yet.
Weaknesses:I can feel the bearings grind when I pedal hard. It's not rebuildable. FSA's bearings are only compatible with one crankset each, so having the Omega crankset commits me to using a BB-4000.
Similar Products Used:Cartridge bottom brackets, cup-and-cone bottom brackets, Shimano SLX external bearing bottom bracket.
Bike Setup:Kona Jake, mainly stock.
Bottom Line:They're cheap, but they suck. The crankset itself is not great either - my friend tore the left crankarm off twice in normal, on-road riding. While they're cheap, I'm giving it a poor value rating because having to replace cheap parts a lot adds up over time.
