Strengths:
Well its a saddle, it works. I read about them in a mag first then looked a few over in the shop. Seemed to be well constructed and had nice protection on the back edges for when you drop it. Primary reason for choosing this was for >6 hr marathon events.
Weaknesses:
Its not in the ultra light category but then it aint no plank to sit on
Similar Products Used:
WTB and the prologo (plank)
Bike Setup:
merida 96, XTR wheels and CF Ritchy bars/stem/headset
Bottom Line:
Much improved in the comfort department from previous saddles. I put this on 2 days before a 110km ride and was anxious that it might be a big mistake in the making. But after installing and two minor adjustments it was all set and rides well. No complaints on this one.

Strengths:
Very Cush, gel in all the right spots but not too mushy. Great connection to the bike.
Weaknesses:
None so far, but the raised back might cause problems for some.
Similar Products Used:
Specialized Alias, Phenom, etc.
Bike Setup:
'06 Cannondale Scalpel with all the fixin's.
Bottom Line:
Great saddle! I just got it and it is amazing what a difference it makes over my old one. I was riding an alias and I might as well have been riding a 2x2 compared to this. There's definitely some tweaking that needs to happen with this saddle and I'm still breaking it in, but in the short time I've ridden the Alliante it is the best I've felt on a mountain bike.
