Custom Sycip Single Speed, this hub is laced via DT butted spokes to a Mavic XM819 disc rim
Bottom Line:
This is a very good hub. I have only used Chris King hubs in the past and was pleasantly surprised after riding this hub. I have always heard that DT hubs were very loud however mine was very quite to begin with. After it broke in the ratchet noise was very noticeable. This does not bother me as I am used to the Kings. The engagement is not quite as good as the Kings but is still very good. I really like the ascetics of this hub. It builds into a very nice looking wheel. I would buy another if the chance arises. Way to go DT Swiss. Ohh yeah, did I mention it’s very lightweight and the DT centerlock adaptor works extremely well. It’s a super trick simple part.
