Date Reviewed: December 16, 2007
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $132.00
Purchased At:Nashbar
Strengths:Bright, 200 lumen output (not 80 in this site's description). Amazingly compact and lightweight. Uses standard AA batteries. Comes with 2 battery brackets. Bomb-proof housing. Mfg's tech assistance is outstanding.
Weaknesses:Documentation provided with unit is inadequate. Helmet mount, while generally well executed, should be re-designed to allow the unit to sit lower relative to the helmet.
Similar Products Used:NiteRider 10 and 15W halogen products.
Bike Setup:Helmet mounted.
Bottom Line:Will never purchase any light other than a LED again.

Date Reviewed: September 29, 2007
Favorite Trail:Stromlo, or Sparrow
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $120.00
Strengths:Very small size, very low weight great light output
Weaknesses:None yet
Similar Products Used:Vision stick halogen 5w, 10w, 15w and Light and Motion HID
Bike Setup:Does it matter
Bottom Line:I got this light as a real backup light I could use if my HID failed. I'm using it on my bar for some trail depth on top of my helmet mounted HID. It's amazing!!!
The Visionstick Halogens are too orangish in colour and are very heavy in comparison to this light.
You can ride with this light as your main light swap batteries every lap and npot have to fork out biug $'s on additional batteries....Love it.
It matches my HID veery well and adds trail depth when mounted on the bar.

Submitted by Jeff Francis a Cross Country Rider from Adelaide, SA, Australia
Date Reviewed: August 28, 2007
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $149.00
Purchased At:DiNotte
Strengths:This light is really compact and it's weight is unnoticeable on your helmet. It has an excellent, reasonably narrow beam - just right for a helmet mount.
The use of common AA rechargeable batteries is also a plus, as spares are easily sourced.
Weaknesses:None - I love it.
Similar Products Used:Ni-cad and lead-acid halogens. They pale in comparison.
Bike Setup:Several bikes - this light suits everything from commuting to off-road night riding.
Bottom Line:For commuting, it's the best. For off road, it would match well with a bar-mounted light.
