from Salt Lake City, Utah Date Reviewed: April 14, 2009 | | Favorite Trail: | Trail 3, in Sandpoint, Idaho | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Purchased At: | Cyclesmith in Salt L | | Strengths: | Super Beefy, the Mavic Crossmax sx wheelset is bombproof. The fox fork and rear shock are super adjustable so you can tune it to ride exactly how you want it to ride. Top of the line components all the way around. The suspension feels great. The hammerscmiddt works almost too well. The bike seems flawless. | | Weaknesses: | there are a lot of suspension adjustments, it took me a while to make the bike feel good to me. The rear tire bottoms out on the frame, not enough to feel it while I ride but it has started wearing the paint away... | | Similar Products Used: | Just about everything | | Bike Setup: | Stock... Fox float 36, DHX air 5.0, sram x.0, mavic crossmax wheels, hammerscmiddt, avid code four piston brakes. | | Bottom Line: | This bike rides really well. It feels at home flying high over dirt jumps or railing turns. It can even turn around and pedal back up without much difficulty due to the two speed internally shifting front end. Everything about this bike is top of the line and it really shows in the ride quality. I have no regrets yet! :) | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
