$600.00 | | Strengths: | Nice aluminum frame | | Weaknesses: | The quadra fork it came with blows, and the gripshift and handlebars had to go, the wheels are "ok" but I wanted better. | | Similar Products Used: | Norco Java, GT RTS team, Marin Nails Trail, GT Timberline | | Bike Setup: | Diamondback SE frame, marzocchi fork, thudbuster seatpost, LX components, nukeproof/bontager wheelset, gripshift plasmas, riser bar (forget who makes it), XT v brakes, TNT Ti bottom bracket, Avid levers, and otehr stuff | | Bottom Line: | The bike in its OME state was ok for newbie riders. boughty wife and she didn't ride it much. It is a 1996 frame (acid orange color), and got it cheaper because the color wasn't selling. I recently cracked theeadtube on my Norco so I switched everything over to my wife's frame. The bike rocks now. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$450.00 | | Purchased At: | Neron | | Strengths: | +STRONG frame +Stiff rims and wheel spokes +Built to last +Light weight +Easy Fixing +love it +Joytech Hubs!!! | | Weaknesses: | -The suspension oh god its got no compression -Shimano Acera likes to adjust itsself -the paint job isnt the best -peddals got no grip | | Similar Products Used: | Specialized | | Bike Setup: | Sr Suntour 7500 ProMax brakes front and back Shimano Acera deraileur Aheadset Alex rims Joytec Hubs
| | Bottom Line: | For the price i paid my bike i was amazed by its performance. Low weight nice rims and some good Joytec hubs. I would recomend this biker not to begginers but to middle class riders its worth what its cost even though i payed it 400 canadien for some reason maybe the stor made some error on the pricing cause i got it for frekin cheap
3 reasons to buy +Nice price for good ride +Good Pieces +Solid& light weight frame
3 reasons to not buy -Shimano Acera Derraileuer must be constantly adjusted -Promax brakes are ok but have to be adjusted -paint job is a little crappy but its ok | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Ch'Town P.E.I Date Reviewed: June 27, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | Polly Mountain | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | It is a very strong mid weight bicycle with good enough compoments that it hits every gear and brakes on a dime. Its a great buy for the bills. | | Weaknesses: | For a racer it could use some component upgrades and a better race ready shock is required. | | Similar Products Used: | You name it i've tested it. | | Bike Setup: | So far i've upgraded to spd pedals.I also put on a better seat and upgraded the crank. | | Bottom Line: | It is in my opinion the best bike for the bills for the young racers out there,or for those who like to go hard. | Overall Rating: |
