from Cambridge, Ontario Canada Date Reviewed: March 10, 2001 | | Favorite Trail: | Youghiogheny River Trail, PA | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Price Paid: |
$360.00 | | Purchased At: | Benjy's Bike Shop, St. Simons Island, GA | | Strengths: | Retirement allows me to seek out and travel to new trails. This bike has an excellent frame for my type of riding along roads and trails with an average distance of 25 to 60 km per trip....a cycling tourist. Most important the bike provides an excellent head's up position so that I can enjoy the view as I new trails. | | Weaknesses: | Wheel liner so bad that it allowed spoke ends to cause 5 flats from holes created in the innertube. The rear derailleur was easily bent during normal use along a forest trail and had to be replaced. | | Similar Products Used: | Trek 800; Haro V3A | | Bottom Line: | Because I needed a new bike in a hurry while travelling, I probably paid too much for this bike, but do enjoy the ride. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
