$400.00 | | Purchased At: | Caps Bikes Abbotsford | | Strengths: | Strong aluminum frame. This bike can stand up to some real abuse, especially under my 215 Lbs. | | Weaknesses: | RST 281 forks that came with the bike do not have enough travel. I am in the process of replacing them with Manitou X-verts. | | Bike Setup: | Have replaced pedals with DH platforms, long stem replaced with shorter, replaced handlebars with nice set of risers, replaced fork with Manitou Spyders, which will be replaced with X-Verts, and got rid of the enormous, although comfortable stock seat. | | Bottom Line: | I did not have the money to buy a bike with better components at the time of purchase and that is why I have made all those changes. The frame is awesome...VERY STRONG. This is a good base on which to build a hardtail bike (freeride or XC). I ride it very hard on trails and use it as my daily transportation. I love it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
