from Indiana, PA, USA Date Reviewed: September 25, 2005 | | Favorite Trail: | Monarch Pass, CO | | Duration Product Used: | 2 Years | | Strengths: | Great carbon mainframe. Great fame design. DBR got things right with this one. | | Weaknesses: | Rear triangle. Should be set up to handle discs...very poor aluminum. I broke the original one. Suggest replacing with newer DBR models. I managed to get one from an XR8 to fit. | | Similar Products Used: | DBR v-link 3.1, Specialized FSR, Trek Fuel 100 | | Bike Setup: | Full XTR, Bontrager Race Lites, Fox RLC 100 front, Stratos XC Pro rear. | | Bottom Line: | If you can ever find one of these rare carbon DBR's buy it. If you don't like it, I'll buy it off you. I own the only one I've ever seen and it is truly the best full suspension frame I've used. It took me a while to get it set up the way I like it, but now I wouldn't trade it for anything. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
