Bottom Line:I would start off with this bike if you are under 8 years old. If you are older thar 13 you will not like this bike. Don't waste your money on this bike

Date Reviewed: October 8, 2000
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Strengths:This Diamondback Viper has a very nice frame. I personally like the thick frame that is has. Great 1 piece cranks, you can't bend them. Nice cro-moly frame. Light. Metal pedals. Rather long bike. Probably a bigger person should buy\ride it. NICE BIKE!!!! BUY IT!!!!
Weaknesses:The handelbars are not the best, but you certainly can live with them. Other than that, the bike kicks butt.
Bottom Line:VERY nice bike. Definitly one of the best racers out there for a very reasonable price. Probably buy new handelbars once you get this awesome bike, but it isn't necisary. Like I said, it's a longer bike, so probably some one taller or heavier would really enjoy this bike. BUY IT!!!!
