Submitted by don't have one a Weekend Warrior from Kraków
Date Reviewed: April 23, 2009
Favorite Trail:Dirt
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $270.00
Strengths:It has a pretty tought frame and forks, not like those mongoose pieces of crap.
Weaknesses:The bike is a bit too heavy and the brakes suck. I've also had some problems with the cranks and wheels. It's not too great for dirt jumping.
Bottom Line:If you're a beginner this is an amazing bike, since you won't be getting much air anyway. When you get some more experience you could buy a more expensive and lighter bike.

Strengths:it is heavy duty. is good at wheelies, rails, dirt trails, has excelent balance.
Weaknesses:heavy, brake system fails constantly, rip it out when you get it and instal another one.
Similar Products Used:dimond back venom, 1998
Bike Setup:stock, except for brakes, seat, and i cut out all the brake bracets for lightweight
Bottom Line:buy the bike if you want a easy rider, that packs a punch when you need it

Submitted by Phillip a Weekend Warrior from Cardington
Date Reviewed: May 3, 2007
Favorite Trail:The Flow
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $300.00
Purchased At:Dicks Spoting Goods
Strengths:The Bike is over all really strong. The Crank Has went through some crazy stuff and still work great. I have no problems with the headset. It is a pretty good bike for dirt and a little bit of vert.
Weaknesses:The rims, and Hubs suck to a high degree. If you buy the bike I strongly suggest to buy some eastern hubs and rims from Dans Comp. The brakes suck really bad. I would also buy some We the People brakes from Dans Comp. It is quite heavy for the looks.
Similar Products Used:Haro, Dyno, Redline
Bottom Line:If I were you I would buy the bike but make sure you have some money to buy brakes, rims, and hubs if your hardware go wrong. Also I would make sure to look into Dans Comp.

Submitted by James Miller a Downhiller from Bowling Green
Date Reviewed: March 25, 2007
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $250.00
Purchased At:Howards Bike shop
Strengths:The bike has good meaurements, strong parts and an OK price
Weaknesses:This thing wieghs a TON. I want to say close to 45 lbs. A good street BMX is going be about 30-35 at most. Its ok for a nube who wants to be really strong when he/she gets a lighter more pricey bike or if you are goingto jump this think a lot.
Bike Setup:The cranks are kinda weak and the bike is a beast.
Bottom Line:Dont buy unless you are buying for a novice or to just pedal around on.

Favorite Trail:Any! I'm in the rockies!
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $260.00
Purchased At:Derby's Bicycle Shop
Strengths:Easily manuverable, great for downhill because of its heaviness... holds up VERY well and a desent bike for flatland at your local park or something
Weaknesses:Probably it's weight! Definatly not the bike for you if you're into racing or freestyle... You cant get a lot of air, but its still desent air... i've jumped staircases with it that have 9 steps...
Bottom Line:If you looking for "big" air... then this is not the bike for you, but if your looking for an amazingly fun time at your local park or downhill (like me) than this is your DREAM BIKE!!! Trust me, i've looked for this kind of bike for years, i'll never pick any other kind of bike as long as i live!

Submitted by dm zigler a Weekend Warrior from baltimore
Date Reviewed: August 29, 2003
Favorite Trail:Hangiger Field Terrain Park
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $150.00
Purchased At:Dicks Sporting goods
Strengths:Looks Cool, Low maintanence
Weaknesses:Heavy, General- department store quaity (low quality). The bike looks as if it could handle abuse thrown at it due to its weight and thick tube frame design. I have had to replace many parts on this baby because it just isnt Heavy duty enough for what the average bmxer has to throw at it. The crank/pedal snapped in two on one landing when i jumped down a flight of stairs.
Similar Products Used:Haro, K2B
Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:This isnt really a good bike for anyone except if your on a budget. Its designed for freestyling, but its way to heavy, almsot like a jumping frame. As said elswhere, the brakes aren't powerful enough to stop quickly, I would advise upgrading them. A good bike for a beginner who has no money.

*Also, I felt Dicks had bad customer support. The general lack of knowledge on their product was a downer. The mechanics didn't even know how to tighten the seat.
