Strengths:
Well-endowed list of functions. Cadence (with the optional mounting kit). Illuminated LCD. Trip time and distance plus total time and distance. And on top of all two in one feature which is literally two cyclo computers in pack. I love this feature which is either rare or non-existant in similar products.
Weaknesses:
The pick-up units are a bit low in sensitivity requiring the magnet in extreme proximity. This can be tricky depending on the shape of frame stays and wheel spokes. It hasn't been a problem for me. I have used CM212 on two bikes with no problem. The main annoying thing is the slow response to speed alterations meaning that during acceleration and deccelrations it's impossible to read the right speed. It needs a good 5 seconds of steady speed! And when bike stops, it takes the computer a loooong while before showing zero. This is very annoying and also if there are frequent stops, it will hurt the average speed reading. It does not have a manual on/off function. This is also bad if you say walk after the trip is ended which lowers the average speed reading. It also shows only the momentary cadence, no max or average values.
CM212 has a few flaws as listed above. Some of them are shared by other similar products. Although I have never seen the slow reaction of this computer to speed change in any other computer before. So tha's my only complaint. On the bright side, CM212 offers features that suit my needs perfectly, has a solid construct and is relative friendly to use. With it, I have two separate record of my rides: one for training and one for leisurely rides. It keeps all the values separate which can also be compared at the press of a button. Considering the cadence feature, the price is not too bad.

Strengths:
Has the ability to set the odometer reading, has cadence, rear wheel sensors (allowing for trainer sessions). Large display, two bike setup. I was looking for a computer that allowed me to transfer my previous odo reading and then allow me to have rear wheel sensors, and cadence.
Weaknesses:
The sensor works when about 3mm away from the magnet (both cadence and odo/speed sensor. When mounting on the rear, the chain stay is about 40mm away from the closest wheel spoke. With the mount I required to build up the sensor by adding a few slim lego pieces, to get the sensor about 3-4mm from the sensor.
Similar Products Used:
Cateye Velo2, h/ever this did not have the Cadence. None of the products I researched, had the ability to do cadence, odometer set, and rear wheel mount as a package.

A good product for trainer, and cadence and when u/grading from another computer, without loosing your odo reading.
