Perdido™ is not just a headset, it is also a Standard that is free for everyone to use and refer to. King designed this new standard to make a strong headset/headtube that is easy for shops and manufacturers to work with. Reaming and facing tools are available directly from us. Frames designed to work with the "Zero-Stack" or ZS system can be converted to Perdido™ using our tools.

Strengths:
Finaly a proper solution for integrated headsets??!!
Weaknesses:
Needs some precision machinenin' to the headtube
Similar Products Used:
none that can compete... probably
Bike Setup:
Nishiki Accelarator, 2002 PsyloRace, WH-M575, Grimeca Sis8, Formula B4, RaceFace, Full XTR, Wildgripper Comp S Light, woodman carbon components and a very lousy Ritchey Int. headset! (a bike full of contradictions, I know, but it flies!)
Bottom Line:
Does anyone have any experience with this headset? I would realy like to hear from you! I don't want to give up my frame, cuz it's a great piece of work but the headset is givin' me a headace, bigtime (damn that ritchey headset!) I wonder what the mayor problems are installing a Perdido set, because the machining that is probably needed. (and for Dutch readers: where can I buy one, bike2build doesn't even sell 'em)
