Chris King's first 14 years and much of their early reputation was established with this traditional lock and adjusting nut style headset. Though often overshadowed by their GripNut design, the 2Nut is still the favorite threaded headset of cyclocrossers and triathletes who may require spacers and/or a cable hanger. It is available in all 4 standard sizes.

Absolute durability, lightweight and sleek
Bottom Line:
I bought two of the 2-nut King headsets in 1992. They have been on various bikes ever since, rigid mtb and suspended, clean and dirty, dusty and submerged in streams. One has been upgraded to a threadless, which only requires you to replace the nuts with collars! Both are smooth as butter.
You will see, over and over, that the King headset is the benchmark for all. There are other super-high end headsets these days, but there is one thing for sure: you cannot go wrong with a Chris King Headset!
