Strengths:
chris king is top of the line & well known so no need to state the obvious. some love the 'killer bees' sound the rear hub makes while freewheeling.
Weaknesses:
some don't like the same sound which divides them from the rest of the cassette hub bunch. wouldn't consider it a weakness, merely weak point. i wear ear plugs & enjoy the noise
Bottom Line:
chris king has really done the hub right. it's easy for self service & most likely won't need any major services unless general maintenance isn't adhered too. best money can buy & should last a cyclist lifetime when properly taken care of
wish i had a set on all my bikes

Bottom Line:
AMAZING hubs and anyone who has written a bad word about these hubs should be shot!!! Unbelievable performance from a 100% green environmentally sound company. The engineering quality is increadible, the pick up of the cassette is like no other. They are very light and ride well in all conditions. They are a race hub and are not designed for street and park use but I've been shredding mine for time now and they haven't missed a beat. Phenominal hubs that deserve a place in history.

Bike Setup:
All of my bikes were equipped with king hubs and won't in the future
Bottom Line:
The one I purchased today was the worst hub. (king SS rear hub)
Spoke hole drilling was worse than chinese hub.
I mailed king and they rejected my mail address.
I've paid $400 and got the botch.
I complaint Ms Adrian Knapp about bearing price before and sounds like she put my address to black list.
You can try my e-mail address vengo_subito@hotmail.com and chris king rejected and other fake email passed.

THE BEST - hands down nothing to even compare to , Profiles very good for the money , also have some of them , but the Kings are the "KINGS". Chris King products are like 3M products if they make it, you can bet they are without peer and buying otherwise is just settling for less.
