Favorite Trail:Horned lizard singletrack
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $60.00
Purchased At:Trek Store North Cou
Strengths:Easy to mount, stays put, nice quality
Weaknesses:more of a spot light than a flood, didnt light up enough of the trail to make it useful for mountain biking
Similar Products Used:none, first light on my bike
Bike Setup:K2 Base 3.0 all original
Bottom Line:just didnt like it for trail riding at night. Beam is to narrow and didnt light up enough of the trail. I'm gonna return in and try to upgrade. Probably a great commuter lite or good for roadies. I dont recommend it for trail riding.

Favorite Trail:Santa Susana pass
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $30.00
Purchased At:nashbar
Strengths:well designed
sturdy
good battery life
Weaknesses:not the brightest one around
a bit bulky for my road bike
Similar Products Used:cateye EL410
Bike Setup:2005 bianchi vigo, mostly stock
Bottom Line:I love this light. It's bright enough for commuting at night, on well and not-so-well lit streets. Batteries last a long time, and it's quite handy as a flashlight. Fits well on the handlebars. If it happens to point towards you it's not annoyingly bright. I picked it over EL520, which gives more power that I didn't feel I needed.
