Adjustable travel from 180 to 200 mm and a plush, staged suspension design makes this the most versatile freeride rig on the mountain. Lightweight, aluminum construction combined with steeper geometry and a shorter wheelbase, give it a nimble trail bike feel.

Strengths:
A big bike that's truly 'all mountain', adjustable rear travel (I've always had it at 200mm), buttery fork, frame is low maintenance and just about indestructible, high bottom bracket makes pedaling over obstacles (like rocks on Bootleg's SkyLine trail) practically bash-less
Weaknesses:
Bit on the heavy side, Ruktion cranks too spongy, stuck chainguide too loud because of it has no ball bearings (just metal on metal), I bend the rear der. hanger all the time (very hard to bend back) but that's just because I drop the bike a lot, long chainstays make the bike hard to manual, plus higher-than-normal chainstays hit my ankle (I now wear an ankle guard)
Similar Products Used:
Intense M3, Kona Stinky
Bike Setup:
Stock except gravity dropper, Kenda Excavator (front) and Nevegal (rear)
Bottom Line:
If you want a full-on downhill bike there's better out there, but if your riding involves a mix of DH and pedaling (which mine does) you'll love this bike. I cruise through trees, berms, ledges, rock gardens, and drops and have no problem keeping up with friends on their DH bikes, and when pedaling is involved I disappear. I call this my 'redemption' bike, because it allows me to slay trails I sucked at on my M3. Add a 4" Gravity Dropper and you'll have THE perfect bike for trails like Moab's Porcupine Rim.

Strengths:
Super strong, go anywhere, can pedal uphill reasonably, suprisingly nimble downhill, love the suspension travel when you need it. Really good looking bike.(the graphics package looks hot on the white bike)
Weaknesses:
Gravity bikes are 10 lbs heavier than trailbikes but you don't have to worry about breaking. Your legs just get stronger and you lose 10 lbs off your waist! You may want higher end suspension if you are a crazy person, but the stock suspension is more than enough for someone who does not want to end up in a wheelchair.

Bike Setup:
added brake link(super trick, way cool), saint rear hub and brake, sram x-o, sun ringle doubletrack rear, magura ventdisk front, kenda bluegroove front, crankbros 5050xx platform pedals, more bling if I can think of it.
Bottom Line:
The 7 and 8 inch suspension travel and nimble frame geomentry are confidence inspiring(also lots of adjustability) and you realize why it is called a freeride bike(go anywhere you damn well feel like). Upgrade to the perp 3 if you have more testosterone than brains.

This bike is just awesome!!! I have taken my bike down 4 - 9 foot drops, fast down hill trails and fast burms. Wow what a bike. I love when know body can keep up with me know.
BOTTOW LINE: Just a fast solid bike the world has been waiting for.
