Submitted by Bill a Cross Country Rider from Metropolis, Ill
Date Reviewed: February 25, 2001
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $2800.00
Purchased At:University Bike Center
Strengths:This is a very fast bike and it can stand up to the punishment. I weigh 180lbs and ride a medium F3000 and I have had no problems. I average around 20-25 miles per ride when I can.
Weaknesses:Coda Parts, why put cheap parts on a great frame!
Similar Products Used:Gary Fisher Paragon
Bike Setup:XTR Brakes, XT Hollowtech Cranks, Rock Shox suspension seatpost, Time ATAC pedals, Ritchey Speedmax Tires, Bontrager Crow Bars, Salsa QR, Mavid 517 Rims, XTR Hubs
Bottom Line:This is an excellent cross-country machine. I have raced it a few times and it is a rocket. I don't think it could be set up any better. I just wish I had more time to ride it.
