from Edmonton Date Reviewed: December 15, 2001 | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Haven't been able to ride it off-road yet (you don't do that in Canada in the winter), but it handles snowbanks pretty well. | | Weaknesses: | Only one complaint so far. The thread that one of the water bottle bolts threads into has broken off inside the frame, making it impossible to get the bolt out without drilling. C'dale has given my dealer a repair kit, so I'm hoping that works. | | Bike Setup: | Mostly stock, but I put on my own saddle. | | Bottom Line: | Other than the water bottle problem, it works great. No different than the non wood-grained F1000, meaning it has a light, stiff frame, great fork, better brakes than last year and the coolest paint job on the planet. Lots of fun. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
