Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:Strength, weight, design
Weaknesses:They're not free!
Bottom Line:I love these things. I paid less than market but would pay full price if I had to. With the spoke nipples near the center, centrifugal force is reduced, and the wheels rotate with less resistance. I was skeptical when I first got them, but have noticed lower AHR and faster times on the same courses. Maybe that's a placebo effect. Maybe I'm in better shape 'cause I want to ride more. I don't really know. But I do know this about their strength: I live in a town where bumpy railroad tracks are all over the place and I haven't had to true the wheels once...yet.

Date Reviewed: April 5, 2000
Favorite Trail:back country roads
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:Customer Service
Light weight
awesome acceleration
look totally sweet
Weaknesses:None so far
Similar Products Used:rolf vector comps and mavic cxp 21
Bike Setup:trek oclv frame, dura ace crank, dura ace cassette, ultegra front and rear deraileurs, ultegra ergo shifters.
Bottom Line:I purchased a Trek bike with Cane Creek Crono Aerohead wheels and never received the truing tool for the 3/16th inch spoke nipples. I e-mailed Cane Creek and told them about my problem and the e-mail I received in response to my own said: "The wrench is in the mail". Talk about customer service! 5 hot chillis to Cane Creek!!! I have rode the wheels only a little to prevent damaging the wheels; but I have to say that they accelerate beautifully!

Considering how much these cost in comparison to rolfs, CANE CREEKS RULE!!
