$3000.00 | | Purchased At: | IBike | | Strengths: | Reliability and comfort. I have had this bike for 5 years with NO issues. No frame breaks and no adjustments/replacement of pivot. I tighten the pivot once a year. Bike is extremely comfortable with 4.5 inches of rear travel. Bike mags riped the URT design b/c it is "semi-active" meaning when standing the suspension stiffens 25-50%. This is really not an issue given that you can sit more w/ a fully.
| | Weaknesses: | A little heavy. Rear tri-angle is cromo and not disc ready. | | Similar Products Used: | Ibis, old Schwin Home Grown, Control Tech | | Bike Setup: | XTR, Pyslo SL, Hayes/Mavic wheels | | Bottom Line: | Solid and durable cross country bike. Design and construction has held up well over time. Shame they no longer make URT's. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
