Rims are disc-specific and welded for superior strength; 28/28 hole design, with OSB feature, reduces dish, and is engineered to withstand both braking and lateral forces for any size rider
Hubs are Swiss made and fully serviceable, with a combination of cartridge and needle bearings
KB's HiLo ATB rear hub design ensures excellent spoke bracing angles for improved lateral wheel stiffness, while steel freehub body will not get marred up with use; front hub utilizes oversized cartridge bearings and aluminum axle
Bontrager Race Mtn Cro-moly skewers included
Disc model brake rotor placed for international standard – no adapters required when used with most braking systems

Strengths:
lighter, tubeless, and hubs are really nice!
Weaknesses:
rims???
Bike Setup:
05 Trek 8500, XT groupset all round, SLR saddle, mosquito tires, SID Team poploc..
Bottom Line:
these wheels worked great but i had my rear wheel damaged badly.. it was sad. i was doing a training day on fire roads and single track. when i got home i realized that my rear wheel was horribly bent. i dont jump or anything like bc im a xc racer so i know what not to do and to do. the rim was out of dish so bad we couldnt true it. one side of the spokes was completely tight and the others were all lose but the side we needed to tighten was to tight so the rim needed pushed back into alignment. we put it into a workman stand like used for carpenters. and slowly pressed on it till it got closer to being true. but its still pretty bad. im buying a new wheelset now before nationals next month. i was impressed with them at first but this was only the 6th ride on them. i wont be buying them again.

Strengths:
Fairly light weight(for discs), black looks, strength(especially for 28 spoke wheels), DT Swiss hubs(smooth!)
Weaknesses:
Cro-Moly Skewers? They should be Ti for this level. Did require a small amount of truing from Trek, which is a small disappointment, again, for this level of wheel.

Bottom Line:
A great wheelset for the money(I got mine at employee purchase price). They actually weigh within the same range as more expensive wheelsets from Mavic and others. I do like the fact that one can repair all parts of the wheel with normal, common spokes, etc. I have ridden these wheels over some rough terrain for the past few months, with no problems and have yet to true them aside from inital "out-of-the-box" tuning. Not too shabby!

Bottom Line:
like i said before it took them of the sugar 3 disc and put on another bike and they r almost as good as the spinergy. they also have very tough rims and can take a beating. these all good all around rims but could be lighter and some colored spokes would be really nice too
