$40.00 | | Purchased At: | price point | | Strengths: | big and strong, it looks new just with some dirt on it, the thing could last a verry long time | | Weaknesses: | It's size it's a lot of saddle between your legs. | | Similar Products Used: | bontrager race, wtb speed V | | Bike Setup: | Trek 8000LT | | Bottom Line: | I'm a big guy (6'-5", 250lb) so I don't fit on most saddles very well. Those that I do fit on I go through quick. I read all the good reviews of the loveseat and thought it could be for me. At first I thought I just had to get use to a saddle that is so big and looks so ridiculous. I gave it a summer of riding and that was way too much time for it on my bike. It's hard to pedal with that much seat between your legs. The sharp edges also add to the bad pedaling feel. I really wanted to like this saddle but it's just not a saddle made for anyone who pedals the bike. I have no doubt in my mind this would make a great DH saddle but that's not my thing. It does hold up very well. Normally after a summer my saddles look 5 years old this one looks brand new. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

| | Bike Setup: | Cove Stiffe w/Sherman Firefly | | Bottom Line: | When I opened the box from Universal, my wife said 'send it back.' I asked why. She said 'Look at it. It's ridiculous.' Then she started laughing hysterically. She called it a 'Beavis and Butthead seat.' I kept it.
She still laughs when she sees it on my bike (it's currently on my Planet X RAD, but spent most of it's life on the Stiffee).
THIS IS NOT A X-COUNTRY SADDLE. This is for taking those neat jumps off the trail and general goofing around. The nose is VERY wide. The material on the seat is rubber-like and will cause your but to get VERY HOT after a short while.
Before you purchase this seat, go in your living room at look at the sofa. Picture the sofa on your bike.
This seat's brother, the Hot Seat, is an excellent all-around saddle (for me).
I have too many bike seats.
3 chilis 'cause it's cheap 2 overall 'cause it's a niche seat

While riding this saddle I found that I had a lot of trouble getting behind the seat because it was so large, especially with the seatpost raised. I'd recommend this seat for downhill and freeriding where you can keep your seat lowered, but not for XC as you will have trouble getting behind it in a cinch. Great for DH- the shape of the seat allow you to grip it between your legs while riding fast allowing you to take corners and jumps fast. | | Weaknesses: | Not the best for climbing- I finally got mine dialed in the right angle, height and it works okay for climbing. (Obviously this isn't what the seat is intended for) | | Similar Products Used: | None | | Bike Setup: | Big Black Bullit | | Bottom Line: | I was a little skeptical at first- I took the seat off for a while. I decided to give it another try and now I love it. I just had to get the seat angle right. Now I love it- I don't think I will switch to a normal seat- I can climb fine on it, this seat will help you control your bike at high speeds. I've decided to buy from a LBS and pay more because they will actually take an installed seat back and swap it out for another, whereas pricepoint.com won't refund your money if it's been installed. I trusted the ratings, got bit because I couldn't actually see one in a LBS to see how dang big it was. Not the ratings fault, you just have to try them till you find one for your own butt. Never even made it to a trail - very disappointed in the quality. Must have gotten a bad one, since others seem to have had good experiences. $44.00 | | Purchased At: | www.universalcycles.com | | Strengths: | This seat rocks!!! I havent even been riding it 24 hours yet, and it already kicks a$$. It is the most confortable seat I have ever sat on. Its not broken in yet, and still is confortable. Very long rails, and very long SEAT. Cheap for such comfort | | Weaknesses: | Maybe the shape of the nose.....but I havent been riding even 24 hours, and I'm already used to that. | | Similar Products Used: | WTB SSTX.3....didnt compare to this | | Bike Setup: | K2 Launch 4.0, Avid Disks, THE downhill fender, THIS SEAT, 2.4 tires, and lots and lots of MUD!!! | | Bottom Line: | It rocks, buy this seat. I had a WTB SSTX.3 on before this, such a nicer seat. It makes such a difference on the appearance of your bike. Just got the seat today, and went riding.....got many stares (love that kinda stuff). The seat has unbendable rails, and you can adjust the length any way you want. Its just that big! My friends (im 14) were amazed by the size of it, they all commented on it. Dont stick this on a little xc bikes, but if you do....send me a picture at my email address Pearldrummer@aol.com I would love to see what it looks like. $40.00 | | Purchased At: | Jensonusa | | Strengths: | comfort, length (makes up for a not-custom top tube length), looks? | | Weaknesses: | weight, looks? | | Similar Products Used: | Tioga multi-control (not xl) | | Bike Setup: | San Andreas, Risse Astro5, Marz. Z1FR, Conti vert pro 2.3 up front, Nokian Gazz. Core in back | | Bottom Line: | I really like this seat. I'm too tall (6'4") and long in the upper body for my San Andreas, and was riding with a long stem to extend the top tube, but that put me too far forward. Even a setback seatpost had me too far forward. The love seat has long rails (an inch or so longer than regular saddles), and now I can get my suspension to work like it should, with more equal front/back weight distribution. It weighs a ton, and all of that weight is high on the bike, but at my weight (225) it is not really noticeable. As for comfort, people are not kidding when the say it is like riding on your couch - I can sit back on smaller drops and not have it hurt. The width of the nose is odd, but I am used to it after only a few rides. Some kid on the street looked at my bike and only wanted to know about the saddle. Honestly one of the better upgrades I've made. At $40.00 worth every penny, and 5 flaming whatevers for both value and overall. Have fun! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Huge landing strip. Rails have been strong enough so far. Having this size of a seat connected to a suspension seat post is the "way" on a HT! | | Weaknesses: | Makes your bike look out of proportion(spelling?). I have fat tires on both my bikes and just that saves the looks. Otherwise it would be so ridiculous to see that I'd be embarrased to get off it and listen to all the shocked bikers as they come to grips with the sheer presence of a seat on roids monster. | | Similar Products Used: | Many regular sized saddles that were break'n the bank trying to find the "One". | | Bike Setup: | Specialized HT's with sus-posts and Fat Tires. | | Bottom Line: | This seat is frigg'n ugly! That being said it is the only seat I use on the trail. I only have one Love Seat so I have to move(easy switch) post and all to which ever HT I take out for the day. I've found that it really improves the feel of a susp-seatpost. Because it is so big it really feels more active when going over the usual trail fare. I got use to a new peddle stroke due to the size and it has not been an issue for me. The feel of it outways the looks and 2x4 size. Use it with Fat tires or else it will be a spectacle to behold...If you give a hoot! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$40.00 | | Purchased At: | PricePoint | | Strengths: | Absoutely unbendable rails. The cushioning makes it comfortable but without making it feel like you are shifting around on the padding. The Kevlar on the edges are a nice touch. | | Weaknesses: | It's shape. It's almost as though they didn't think about the shape of a human thigh when creating the base of this thing. The sides are almost straight as they come in to the tip which, by the way, is about half an inch too wide. | | Similar Products Used: | Bucket seats in some small luxury vehicles. | | Bike Setup: | freeride/XC inbreed | | Bottom Line: | This saddle is such a change from other saddles. I rode a friends road bike once and when I came out of a standing sprint I missed the saddle entirely on the way back down. In contrast, you couldn't miss landing on this seat if you fell of your bike. It's really that big. Unless you have a huge ass then this bike should be big engough for you to carry some cargo on the back while you're riding.
Trust me, when you first pull it out of the package it looks like a monster. But put it on your bike and ride a little and sooner or later you'll fall in love with the Love Seat. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I had this backordered from one of the online companies and had totally forgotten about it. It finally showed up in the mail one day and when I opened it, I was shocked at the size of this seat. It doesn't look comfortable at all. I thought that surely this couldn't be the seat I ordered. I called and they assured me that I had the right seat. I installed it and have loved it ever since! I bought one after reading these reviews. Best $50 ever spent. My stock Giant left my ass feeling like an elephant had at me. First time with the love seat I thought it was just a little better because my ass still hurt. I realized this was just the carry over soreness from my prior Giant piece of crap. Every ride is like riding on a cloud. Super Cushy seat. Looks massive when you take it out of the package but once its on your bike it looks really nice. Don't worry about missing the pedals on hits. $60.00 | | Purchased At: | na | | Strengths: | Comfy! | | Weaknesses: | None yet. | | Similar Products Used: | Nothing is similar | | Bike Setup: | Trek Full-suspension (vr200) | | Bottom Line: | First of all, the seat that came with my bike got trashed after my bike fell a couple of times, really ripped up the leather. It wasn't such a comfortable seat, either, when you're going off rocks and roots, etc. After looking around the site for a while, I came across the review for the love seat and decided I would give it a try. It wasn't easy to find, so I ordered it from a local bike shop. It took two weeks to get here, and when I went to pick it up, the proprietors were amazed and laughed, "This is a really weird seat." Indeed, it is. I would say it's 30% larger than any other saddle I've ever ridden in 20 years. This nose is wider and longer, which added for a little extra rub on the inside of my thighs. Getting used to that, though. Also, the entire length of the saddle is longer, which makes for secure entry and exit for this seat. No missing the saddle when coming down. The back of the saddle is not so wide that you can't get off it, and it makes a nice stomach rest when you need to put your stomach on your seat to keep from going over the handlebars on steep descents. Padding is very nice, and there's not too much of it. In the end, it's like taking your couch out for a bike ride! :D I'm not sure how this saddle would react over a long flat ride, guess I'll find that out over time. Saddle looks cool and I'm excited to get many years of use out of it. Workmanship is nice. If you're looking to save weight, don't get this one, the sheer size adds weight. If you care more about comfort, then this is it. I give this saddle 5 flamin' chilis simply because it's the most comfy seat I've _ever_ ridden... now my whole family wants one for their bikes! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

It is the most comfy seat I've ever ridden and it offers a lot of room to move around. If you're not a dh/big hit rider, it's too much though. It's so wide and long that it interferes with your leg movement when doing jumping tricks like tables. First thing to consider when buying it is the shear size of the thing... Internet pics don't do it justice coz it's proportionally bigger than a XC saddle, which means it's not just a XC seat with a HUGE rear or something like that... Every aspect of this seat is big. The nose alone is massive, so in pics it looks a bit bigger than a XC saddle when in reality it's much bigger...
The feel of this seat is amazing... When i first sat on it the first thought that came to my mind was I was sitting on a FS bike (I have a hardtail)... Then i checked my tire pressure thinking it felt like it was low but it wasn't... This seat really absorbs bumps but does it very smoothly so you don't even feel it working... It really feels like a one of those nice expensive leather sofas with a $2K price tag.
The colors it comes in are neat (blue kev is awesome)...
The bottom line is this seat is a hybrid between a bicycle saddle and a motocross seat and Azonic did a GREAT job with the LOVE SEAT. They're not that easy to find tho... If you order it online make SURE they got it in stock... Azonic O'neal sucks with their cust. service and delivery date promises... trust me i know.... | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Nice and flat on top(like my motocross bike) yet still allows you to pedal fine. | Overall Rating: |

I bailed at over 40 mph and it held up great. I strongly recommend it to any DH'er. | Overall Rating: |
