Bottom Line:
Great seat. After using this seat I will never buy a different seat. This is the most comfortable seat I have ever ridden. This seat has survived many wrecks and is still in perfect working order. The sides of the seat covering is now starting to come off, but what can you expect after 4 years of hard riding. I highly recommend this seat.

Of the many saddles I've tried over the years, I find this to be the most transparent. Seat is long, not that wide, and generously padded. Comfy from day one. Looks good, too. No complaints so far. Will see how the rails hold up, but I weigh 185 and have been thrashing it pretty hard. Had to position the seat as far back on seatpost as possible to get good seating position. No setback on Thompson post.
Tried a Love Seat but it was pretty awful. Too wide.

Bottom Line:
Oneals warrantee department flatly refused to replace the seat when one of the rails bent after 2 rides. They refused to accept that there could by something wrong with the manufacture or material without even seeing the saddle and eventually just stopped replying to my Emails. Thier 1st 2 emails said that they would replace the seat no problem and then when the wholesaler went back to them to get the replacement Rich Walsh refused it. I replaced the seat with a $5 Thompson Comp out of the bargain bin at my local bike shop and it has been totally fine for months. This seat is really good if the rails dont bend, I know people who ride them in downhill competition and they have had no problem but if you are lookign for any after support after Oneal have got your money off you then you will be out of luck. I found that the 2 times that I got to ride this saddel that it was very firm but soooooo comfortable, didnt get sore at all. I really would like another one of these but I wont spend that kind of money again for fear it will fail again and I wont get any support from them again.

Bottom Line:
I've had this seat for over four months and nothing is wrong with it except the logo is starting to wear off, which has happened on every seat I've had. I can't believe the overall rating posted here. I feel this is an artificially low rating. If you disregard a few really negative reviews from some extremely abusive and/or irresponsible riders and the overall rating would be much higher.
Fellas, if you weigh 200+ pounds and are jumping off the roof of your house, things are going to break or bend. No company is going to guarantee their products for that kind of abuse; you should feel lucky they are offering to replace your rails with chromoly kit. I weigh 155 pounds and regularly do 6 to 8 feet vertical drops and haven't had any problems with my seat. Bottom line: this is a great seat that has gotten a bad rap.

It really sucked, because it was now junk after 6 hours of use. Called Azonic and they said they are now upgrading all these seats to the chromoly rails, so DO NOT GET THE STEEL RAILS!
Good news, I called Azonic and they told me to send them the seat and they would install new chromoly rails, or give me a new one with the chrmoly rails already in place.

I originally bought the Azonic one, after seeing it in a couple of mags, figured out the stupid looking oval rails dont fit in a Race Face XY seatpost (by looking at the clamp, not by trying to wedge an oval peg in a round hole, like someone on here did), went back the the bike shop, which I work for, and switched it for the Setlaz version (off of a factory spec Norco Drop). Its exactly the same saddle, made by the same people, only the setlaz one has standard chromoly rails, thank god I did. I do lots of 5-6 foot drops onto flat concrete, packs of stairs, few gaps, off road, on road, commute. Ive stacked it on gravel dirt grass concrete everything. All Ive got is a scuff in the kevlar the writings come off.
To all you people who snapped there dumb ass alu rails, ask Azonic to give you one from the people who actually make the bulk of it before its been Azonified....people who want the big AZONIC sticker will have to stand permanantly while cycleing. My score is only valid if you can get yourself a chromoly railed one.

SDG bel air, SDG Comp, specialised saddle (can't remember exact model- this was three years ago), other generic cheap stuff from way back when.
I fell in love with the look of this saddle, and loved its feel during short rides, but on anything over 1.5 hrs this was way painful. i've ridden enough saddles to know that your ass will take a while to mould to a new saddle, but with this one I have been saddle sore since I bought it. My cheap SDG comp is way more comfortable, and about a quarter of the price! also the fat rails are a pain to fit onto your seatpost, and by the sounds of other reviewers, aren't that strong (although mine haven't bent or snapped.)
buy this if you want a good looking seat you can show off. (but why would you want to do that?)
low marks for cost and comfort

pretty comfy, looks the part even if it doesn't act it
Weaknesses:
The rails bent after about a month
Similar Products Used:

Bike Setup:
Santa Cruz Bullit, Jr-T, Hayes, Race Face, blah blah blah...
Bottom Line:
I loved the seat when I first got it. Bought it cause I bent the rails on my last saddle and I saw these and figured there was no way I could bend them... WRONG! Things bent when I used the saddle as inteded... to sit on. Azonic says they will replace it, if so, great. If not than you'll hear back. Otherwise it's been comfy and the covering is way durable, but I guess unless you want to stare at your bike all day, bent rails still make the saddle worthless.

Strengths:
Feels good, good size and good comfort. Saddle itself is fine and hard wearing.
Weaknesses:
The Rails have bent. The y are made fo Aluminium rather than Chromoly. The rails looked tough which was half the reason for the purchase. It is set back it my seat clamp, however I believe it still would have bent if it wasn't so far back.
Similar Products Used:
old BMX Seat, Tioga Dh Seat
Bottom Line:
It is an extreemly comfortable seat, and i love it to bits, except for the bending rails. If it had chromoly rails it would be the prefect seat for me, i can handle a bit of extra weight for rails that wont bend and pitch the seat back.

Nice shape seat. The rails are as weak they bent after two weeks with about 4 rides. I ride hard but have never broken anything in that short amount of time.
This seat is not worth using

Looks sweet, perfect size, looks strong
Weaknesses:
it is sweet, it is the perfect size, but it is NOT strong.
Similar Products Used:

Bottom Line:
Good seat, but the rails are weak...despite their large size...if your ok with replacing your seat every 6 months or so, this one is for you...other than the soft rails, the azonic hot seat is perfect so I'll probably end up buying another one.

Strengths:
It was nice...? I really liked the saddle.
Weaknesses:
It was a really good saddle just the right size and everything but I snapped the thing in half. When I got it I was amazed how big and oversized the rails where. I though wow this thing is never going to break well I was riding and snap, both the rails snapped in half. I called Azonic and they said they have seen many bend but never brake. They are sending out a replacement but saddles should not brake especially since I am only 160lbs. It's kinda lame that they want me to send in the old one too, but whatever. Also you will have to grind out your seatpost clamps to get it to fit.

Bottom Line:
It was a really nice seat until I snapped it in half, with the rails being as big as they were they should not have snapped in half. I am only 160lbs so this is just a structurly weak saddle. You will have to grind out your seatpost clamps to get it to fit.

Strengths:
as comfy as an armchair, strong kevlar and armourtex cover should last, rails are beefy to understate
Weaknesses:
uummmmm 35 quid (english not us) is alotta money for a seat rest especally when your arse is hanging off the end off the bike, or you are standing up for most of the time. moves up and down in seatpost even when as tight as it will go, buit that might just be the seatpost

Bottom Line:
class saddle, strong comfy, but the price is expensive, and it moves in the seatpost, the seatpost will probably die before the saddle. like an armchair but with out the weight or bulk and easier to peddle on as well. if you are after a comfy strongarse saddle get this

Tioga DH BMX saddle

Bottom Line:
One great saddle. Wrecked the ass of my Tioga DH on cement, ripping the whole thing up the back. Was a little too big and padded anyhow. Switched to my BMX seat which was better to ride on but still not the best. Saw this seat at the LBS and was caught by the look, tried it out and thought it was a bit hard in the wrong places, however i purchased it and after my butt found the right spot it is great, hardly notice it is there. Not a big lounge chair like the tioga so it encourages you to pedal! Sweet ass seat, as comfortable as a reclinig chair without crampin your style!
