Strengths:
Looks tidy and integrated, possibly saves weight, conserves handlebar real estate.
Weaknesses:
Left side clamp has broken twice in similar situations; handlebar was whipped around 180 degrees in an endo and the front mech cable pulled tight, snapping the mount.

Bike Setup:
Giant Reign X0 2008 - stock.
Bottom Line:
The matchmaker mounts came stock on the Giant Reign X0. However in-service use for me has demonstrated they are unsuitable for this bike and the type of riding the bike is designed for. They would be great for XC use or light trail work only!
