Date Reviewed: August 24, 2009
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $60.00
Purchased At:chainreactioncycles.
Strengths:Fiberglass sole. Both ties and velcro straps.
Well vented and has threads for studs. Nice design. Comfortable.
Weaknesses:Weight 970g. Not very easy to walk, but it is meant to be for cycling.
Similar Products Used:Pearl Izumi Quest
Bike Setup:Hardtail SRAM mostly, made for testing anything - so setup is permanently in change.
Bottom Line:If you are beginner this is for you. You will have good power transfer and no problems cycling. Still weight is too much for racing but for pleasure is OK.

Date Reviewed: May 5, 2008
Favorite Trail:Winding Trails Race Course
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $100.00
Purchased At:Blue Sky Cycling
Strengths:Price, especially when combined with Crank Brothers pedals. Great first clipless cycling shoe!
Weaknesses:After about 6 months of use, the outsole started to separate from the rest of the shoe. Sections of rubber were falling off, so I pulled them totally off and kept using the shoes.
Similar Products Used:Shimano M122
Bike Setup:05 Jamis Dakar Sport Custom Build
Bottom Line:These shoes fit well and for the price, served me very well. I have raced XC for about 2 years now with them and though they do show the miles, they are still going to be my rain/mud shoes in the future. Pick these up with some Crank Brothers pedals and you have the perfect entry level clipless setup.
