Submitted by Joe Frost a Racer from Illinois
Date Reviewed: August 12, 2003
Duration Product Used:6 months
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:High bling bling factor, nice welds, butted tubes, nice stickers
Weaknesses:No EBB?
Similar Products Used:Surly 1x1, Titus HCR (geared), Aerolite (geared), old specialized stumpjumper (geared then converted to single)
Bike Setup:paul hubs, xtr cranks, thudbuster, koski stem, ritchey rizors, avid brakes V's
Bottom Line:Excellent riding bike! Handles better than any of the other bikes I have owned, nice low top tube, hot chick on the sticker. Comfy Ti ride, stiff enough for this 195# mashing machine, have done some 2' drops along the trail. This may be the best production Ti SS bike out there...with horizontal dropouts. The question is with the drops-is the EBB style SS bike better? Well, it might be (oir might not..) but the Ti Hag is one fine ride anyway!
