from Honolulu Date Reviewed: September 25, 1999 | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | Comfort fun to ride The rush down hills Great for touring Great conversation piece | | Weaknesses: | Not being able to get out of the saddle on hills. But they can climb, you just have to spin, spin, spin.... | | Similar Products Used: | Bike E Easy Racers Rans I own two other regular not recumbent bikes. | | Bike Setup: | Added Chris king headset Magura brakes XT parts accross the board. | | Bottom Line: | A blast to ride. I got a great deal on mine, and basically changed all of the stock (suntour) parts. My bike (98 model) came with some low end parts which I think has changed for 99 now that Vision has some pull with the bike industry. Since mine is the short wheel base, I highly recommend a high end headset, like Chris King. The head set on SWB models take a beating.Otherwise, I just finished touring the pacific coast on mine, and I wouldn't have done it on any other bike. Great for touring, you don't even feel the miles.5 stars, minus one for the stock crappy parts. | Overall Rating: |

from utah Date Reviewed: June 7, 1999 | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | Very nice design and well though out | | Weaknesses: | not enough attention to detail, seat mesh started to wear out after 6 months | | Bottom Line: | Great entry level recumbent. I don't regret getting this bike at all, although I hope they come through with the warranty on the seat. | Overall Rating: |
