Bottom Line:I've had this for a year and have had absolutely no problems. Never had to touch it, probably because it was installed at a great place where they knew what they were doing. I'm still going to buy a chris king head set just because it says chris king and ill be cool though.

Bottom Line:

Since buying it I've spent more time taking it apart and re-greasing it than riding on it!! It needs to be so tight just to have no play in the bearings. I fixed this a bit by putting loose bearings in the top race. A seal skin on the bottom race helps keep the crap out. If you ride alot in the mud buy a Chris King instead.

Bottom Line:

I have been using this headset for 3 months now. Well it started as a bad experience and is now ending with a bad experience. This headset is junk, plain and simple. The seals will not sit well and so the headset will not tighten properly. So hey, get new seals and they sit nicely. But now after 2 months since i got the new seals, this thing is not sealed. Im rideing along and all of a sudden if sounds like my frame is cracking, nope not the frame, but the headset making the most unreal creaking. Take the headseat apart and holy cow, looks like i dumped sand in there and i dont even ride in sand. The bottom bearing is deformed looking. I am replacing it with what i should have started with, chris king.

Bottom Line:

I have been on this head set for almost two years, with a flawless performance! There is no doubt this is the best value in the market. Iread the other review about the seals being to tight or to big, that is how they work. The tight fit makes them snap in and seal out the grime! Check one out for yourself. You'll dig it!
