July 6,7,8 - Highlights
Jan here. It's Monday evening 9pm, July 5. I'm in Grants , Colorado . I came here along the highway cause my tire is in very bad condition and it's now unusable. I don't know how I can continue. There's no bike shop here so I have to find some other solution. I don't want to quit less than 400 miles from the finish so I'll try my best to have a solution by tomorrow.

Jan, great divide yesterday. I lost all day yesterday trying to fix my tires. Someone gave me a ride yesterday to Albaquerque where I was able to get a 29 inch tire from a bike shop.

Here is Jan, great divide racer. I am in Silver City It's Thursday 3pm. I hope to finish in New Mexico tomorrow. Today, I flatted both tires with hundreds of needles.
