I RECENTLY BOUGHT A FOES FLY FROM RICHARDS BICYCLES IN PALOS HEIGHTS,ILL. IWAS ABLE TO SPEC THE BIKE WITH THE PARTS I WANTED YOU KNOW AT LEAST XT ,SOME RACE FACE SOME EASTON AND A LITTLE MAVIC. THERE WAS A PROBLEM FROM THE FACTORY WITH MY FORK. ONE OF THOSE SITUATIONS WERE THE SHOP TELLS THE FACTORY TO INSTALL SOMETHING TO AVOID DISASSEMBLING YOUR NEW FORK. WELL THE FACTORY FAILED TO DO WHAT THEY PROMISED AND THE SHOP TRUSTING THE FACTORY WOULD SEE NO REASON TO CHECK THEM. I TOOK DELIVERY WITH THE SNOW ON THE GROUND SO I REALLY COULDNT GO AND JUMP MY FLY TO SEE WHAT WAS UP. IT TOOK 42 DAYS TO GET THE SNOW OFF THE GROUND TO FINALLY JUMP IT AND IT WAS WAY TOO SOFT AND IT DOVE WAY TOO MUCH! AFTER CALLING THE FACTORY AND DOING ALL OF THE SETUP STUFF IT WAS STILL WRONG. SO I CALLED MIKE RICHARDS AND HE FOUND THAT WE AS SHOP OWNERS AND CONSUMERS CANT TAKE THE WORD OF THE FACTORIES.HE IMMEDIATELY CALLED A DIFFERENT FACTORY AND HE GOT ME EVEN A BETTER PRODUCT AND JUST AS GOOD A DEAL AND THIS TIME THE FACTORY DID WHAT IT SAID.OF COURSE WERE TALKING ABOUT A DIFFERENT FACTORY. I AM NOW REALLY COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE.BECAUSE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME AND MY FLY IS WHAT I FELT IT SHOULD HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FOR WHAT IT IS , FOR WHAT IT COST AND BECAUSE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT IT SHOULD BE FOR ALL OF US MOUNTAIN BIKERS!!!!
