Strengths: Look sweet. Hubs and bearings are very nice. Light.Weaknesses: Rims crack around spoke nipples. Rear starting to flex when doing standing sprints.Bottom Line: Hubs are great. Rims are problematic. I am now on my 4th set of these wheels. Specialized has been replacing them under warranty continuously since I bought them. Rims crack at spoke nipples on front and rear. Always hear a loud bang followed by ungodly creaking when the rim cracks. Fill with water in wet conditions.

Bottom Line: 5K miles into my Roubaix Pro, the wheels were always smooth. But a spoke popped last month. Went for a spoke replacement and found multiple fractures in the rim. Specialized replaced the entire rear wheel within 2 days. Kind of freaky that I was routinely making 40+MPH descents on these things while they were cracked. I weigh 155 and do incorporate fireroads and barely paved roads into most rides. But, that's what the Roubaix is meant for, right? I'm happy with the service from Spec. I just hope they've handled the rim cracking issues.

Bottom Line: These rims are junk. I have had nothing but problems with them. I have about 6 months and 2000 miles and have both the front and rear rims replaced. Rear wheel had a split in it. The replacement wheel already (1 month old) has the logos falling off. The front rim has to be replaced now after a broken spoke and another split in it near a nipple.

Strengths: Look good, nice ride for titanium bike. Might be ok for lighter riders.Weaknesses: Weak spokes, no grommets in rim, weak spokes, cracks in both rear and FRONT rims. The replacement rear wheel came with a CYA lawyer sticker.Bottom Line: These wheels have ben nothing but trouble. Bought new as part of new Lynskey Level 3 titanium. At first these wheels fit the bill of delivering a smooth ride to compliment ti. But then the problems started;broken spoke rear wheel, 7 cracks in rim on non-drive side, then broken front spoke and crack in rim. I have no confidence in these wheels, could have let loose on 40MPH descent. Specialized replaced rear wheel, but added lawyer sticker, yech. To their credit, the great folks at Conte's are working an exchange.
