Powerlines

The power lines are used mainly by ATV's and snowmobiles, so they aren't worth going on if you are looking for sigletrack. Mostly made up of large rolling hills, rarely any flat terrain. Even though it is out of trees and open to the sun all day long, the valleys can hold the water (mud) for a long time. Like I said there are 2 powerlines crossing over Blackstrap Rd. Each are the same in terrain, difficulty, etc.
Off of these are miles and miles of other "fireroad" like trails. There are also pipelines running across, going north/south.
Ummm... anyone want to add anything?....
Chris @ Falmouth
There are two powerlines that cross over blackstrap rd. One is before you get to mountain rd. the other is after mastrd comes into blackstrap. Parking space is right there on the side of the road. There are other entrances also from radio tower access roads and other places.
Summary: great trail, easily customized to your length and skill level, some steep descents followed by steep and challenging climbs, easily navigated by advanced moderate riders, many exit points onto major roads
Other recommended trails in the same area: river trail in falmouth-portland- westbrook
