Weekend Warrior Summary: Just wanted to spread the word about the new extension at Trussville. BUMP has added about 1 mile of singletrack including very technical portion right behind the tennis courts.

Cross Country Rider Summary: a little bit of everything!! switchbacks, rocks, short climbs, and tight singletrack. a little on the short side of things but the best night riding in town. Recommended Route: do a loop clock wise then turn around and trace your steps.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Nice trail for those of us in the Trussville Clay area. Pretty diverse for such a short ride, although the ride is longer than it was a couple of years ago. No huge climbs, but enough to get your heart beating (at least mine). Several log crossings, some tight single track, a mile or so of flat gas line (like a dirt road), a pretty fast downhill singletrack with slick rocks, some opportunities to get airborne. Like the others mentioned, it will take a little while to figure out the best loop for you, but it is a fun ride. Recommended Route: I park at the baseball fields, go across the wooden bridge to the upper parking lot and start there. Switchbacks work all the way up the 120 foot elevation change with log and bridege crossings (all single track). There are a few cut ups for the harder climbers. At the top there is an area that you can use as a practice area. Go on down the hill...pretty tight again with some big slick rocks near the bottom. Go across the road and follow the trail to the right. Just before you get back to the ball fields, turn left and follow this trail past the ball fields and back out to the road. Cross the road and run back up to the original parking lot - I'm guessing this is about a 4 mile loop. There are a lot of side trails and some I have never been on. Enjoy! Other recommended trails in the same area: Oak Mountain of course.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Nice trail but I recommend riding with someone that knows the trail or just riding around and figuring it out yourself that is what I did. It wasn't to hard to figure out. Recommended Route: Right when you come in the gate, the trail starts out down hill.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Pretty good trails. Good alternative to Oak Mountain if you're on this side of town. I would recommend riding with someone who knows the trails first to understand the layout or the full circuit.
